You Know EMDR Works—Now Let’s Help You Feel Confident Using It.

Even after EMDR training, many therapists struggle with questions like:

What target should I choose?
Am I doing this right?
What if I push my client too far, too fast?
How do I keep them from feeling overwhelmed?
Am I leading them in the right direction?

If you’ve ever second-guessed yourself in session, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it alone either.

I help EMDR therapists move from self-doubt to confidence, so you can guide your clients through deeper healing—without the fear of doing it wrong.

Through consultation and resources, I’ll help you sharpen your skills, trust the process, and feel solid in your EMDR work.

Hi, I’m Carly! I’m passionate about bringing people together and creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, inspired, and ready to grow. Whether you’re a brand-new EMDR therapist or a CIT on your way to becoming a consultant, I believe that knowledge is meant to be shared—not hoarded.

I’ve walked the EMDR journey myself and have done the work to process any stuck points I encountered along the way. In addition to my clinical experience, I’ve participated in mastermind programs, read all the business 101 and money mindset books, and continuously work to foster an abundant mindset. All of this helps me guide you not just through the clinical side of EMDR, but through the business side too.

As EMDR therapists, we need to grow both in our skills and in how we present ourselves to the world. How do we find the right clients? How do people find us? And how do we confidently “sell” EMDR while staying true to its life-changing power? These are the questions we’ll tackle together, building a thriving business and a fulfilling therapy practice.

You’re not just joining a consultation group—you’re joining a community where we share knowledge, support each other, and grow together.

FAQs

  • EMDR consultation helps you refine your EMDR skills, gain support, and receive feedback from an EMDRIA-approved consultant. It’s essential for EMDR certification and continuing your professional growth. Whether you’re a new therapist or experienced, consultation helps you build confidence and ensures you're providing the best care for your clients.

  • To become an EMDRIA-approved consultant, you need to complete specific training, accumulate consultation hours, and demonstrate competency in EMDR therapy.

As part of your CIT journey, I offer structured EMDR consultation groups and one-on-one mentorship to help you achieve this milestone.

  • EMDR consultation groups are collaborative spaces where EMDR therapists meet to discuss cases, share experiences, and receive feedback from an EMDRIA-approved consultant. These groups provide ongoing EMDR support and a chance to connect with other therapists.

The structure of groups are usually each participant has at lesat 15 minutes to discuss an area they are really struggling with or a specific client case you need support with. Then if we have time, we can run through a resource or anything that might be helpful for the group. Groups for CIT have a maximum of 4 participants.

Groups for EMDR Certification have max for 1 hour (4 people) and 2 hours (8 people).

  • You will need 20 consultation hours as part of your EMDR certification process. These hours can be completed through one-on-one sessions or EMDR consultation groups, but 10/20 must be individual consultation. Also at minimum 5 hours need to be from an Approved Consultant (which I am). I offer flexible packages to help you meet your certification requirements.

Visit EMDRIA’s website and FAQ page to learn more about the EMDR certification process.

  • Yes! You can absolutely join a group and we would love to have you! The groups are designed to help you grow at any stage of your EMDR practice. However, you aren’t able to count those hours towards your EMDR certificate if that’s what you plan on doing. Hours towards certification only happen after you’ve completed the Basic Training and the 10 hours of consultation for basic training.

  • Business mentorship focuses on helping you build and grow your EMDR practice by providing guidance on attracting the right clients, marketing your services, and managing your business. It’s an integral part of the support I offer for therapists looking to thrive in both their clinical and business endeavors.

  • Individual consultations provide personalized, one-on-one support tailored to your specific needs, while group consultations allow you to connect with peers, share insights, and receive collective feedback in a supportive environment. Both formats are valuable and can be used together for a well-rounded experience.

  • Absolutely! Being part of an EMDR consultation group gives you access to feedback, guidance, and a supportive community. You’ll gain practical tools, build your confidence, and feel connected to others on a similar journey.

  • Yes! I offer a variety of free EMDR resources to help you get started and grow. From worksheets to guides, you can access tools to enhance your practice and increase your confidence in EMDR therapy. You can also join my community to stay updated on new resources.

  • To ensure I can provide an accurate and supportive recommendation, you must complete at least 5 hours in a group consultation and a minimum of 1 individual consultation. This allows me to observe your proficiency and ethical use of EMDR therapy, ensuring you're ready for certification.
